to point out the obvious gullibility and silliness of "Stealth technology in a can?!" then you are saying the ad does not have any credibility, does not ring true on any serious level. That, by defintion, means the ad is not specious. You can't have it both ways ;c) "Things Go Better With Coke" is not even in the ballpark of an example of a specious argument. There is no reasoning behind a statement like that, it's simply based on pure emotional appeal. By virtue that most ads use sex or some other mindless drivel to try and sway someone into purchasing, again, not specious. I think you might need some examples of which I am too tired to think of at the present time. Good luck.
